CS Industrial pre-galvanized channels are cold roll formed to size from low-carbon strip steel. Our pre-galvanized steel is zinc coated through a hot-dip process. Large coils of steel strip are fed through a continuous zinc coating machine which cleans, fluxes and coats the steel with molten zinc. The steel is cooled and recoiled then cold roll formed into our strut.
Our pre-galvanized zinc coating conforms to a G-90 thickness designation per ASTM A653 wit a standard length of 10 feet (3.05m).
Length Tolerances are +1/8" (3.2mm) to +1/2" (12.7mm) to allow for cutting. Zinc Plating thickness is 0.75 MIL or 0.45 oz./sq. ft. of surface area.
A strut channel framing system, also known as a C-Strut system, has several advantages.
Firstly, it is highly versatile, allowing for a wide range of configurations and applications. Secondly, it is easy to install, requiring only basic tools and equipment, which makes it a popular choice for all projects. Additionally, the modular nature of the system allows for easy modifications and upgrades, minimizing downtime and costs. The high strength-to-weight ratio of strut channels also makes them ideal for heavy-duty applications.
Finally, strut channel systems are cost-effective and require minimal maintenance, making them an attractive option for a variety of industries and building types. We supply a complete line of high quality — low cost — strut channel framing products.
